How Can We Help?
If you live in a neighborhood that is part of a homeowner’s association, you will need to complete and submit an application to them, requesting they they grant you permission to install solar on your home.
Thanks to a law passed in 2011, HOAs have very limited circumstances under which they can prohibit solar installations or require that they be relocated in a different area.
The exception to this is a law passed in June, 2015 which allows developers to prohibit solar installations during the development period within developments of less than 50 homes.
