How Can We Help?
Unless you are completely off-grid, you will still receive an electric bill.
Solar can dramatically reduce your bill, but don’t forget that there is still a minimal connection fee to remain connected to the electrical grid. This means that even if you are consuming only the energy you produce, you will still be charged for the utility connection service.
Before deciding to install solar, it’s extremely important to determine what your monthly and yearly energy consumption is and (in part) design your array around this factor. It is also a good time to do a home energy audit to learn where you can become more energy efficient so that you can take full advantage of using solar once it is installed.
You can learn more about being more energy efficient here, but if you’d like to discuss in person or over the phone, we would be happy to – let us know here.
