Should I install an EV charging station when I get my solar installed?
If you are considering an EV charging station for some point in the future, it’s best to mention it to your solar installer when your solar array is being designed so that the EV charging station’s design can be anticipated.
If you anticipate that you will be needing an EV charging station and plan to have solar installed, it’s easiest to also install the EV charging station at the same time as your solar, but it is not mandatory.
Perhaps, you don’t have an electric vehicle yet or want to finance the EV installation at a different time. We can always come back later and install the EV charging station when you are ready for it.
